The class
- "data: past present and future" is open to students in SEAS, CC, GS, and GSAS.
- CC/GS students: The course satisfies one science requirement
- SEAS students: The counts towards "nontech elective" credit
- BC students: This course satisfies Barnard's T&D general education requirement.
- History majors: this course counts as a history course for history major.
- although we will code in Python no prerequisites and no programming experience is required (we will be using pre-authored notebooks and using Google's Colab; you will not need to install anything).
